Central VENUE-THE HAUNTED RAVE/EAGLES BALLROOM Milwaukee, WI FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH/ LOSING SCARLET THE RAVE/THE EAGLES CLUB Milwaukee, Wisconsin ........enter V.I.P Parking at The haunted venue Traffic jam and police officer cuts us completely off from parking to direct traffic ....... after half of an hour parking ordeal....... 7:30 P.M enter The Rave , stage right to see Chicago Rockers, Losing Scarlet ...... Never once asked for tickets, complete walk in Had 3 V.I.P in pocket I see Jodi, the lead singer of Losing Scarlet pacing the comfortably dungeon lit room. where THE RAVE'S , PAY TO PLAY stage exists. A famous stage ...world famous for Pearl Jam's break out concert on the same platform. By the looks of the heavy crowd, it did PAY TO PLAY for vampire-tainmnet group.......LOSING SCARLET Jodi-Vox was a dead ringer for Joan Jett amp and headbanging ... with falsetto screams and Lady GaGa style with Katy Perry cuteness... A sure star power... Petra the bass patrol...licking in a Les Clayborn boom Conor..reminding assistant editor, Jeff Martin, of an eager Neil Peart style of aggressively timed beats. Scott's Guitar consistent and tight No Doubt , Losing Scarlet rocked The Rave. 10P.M Central ...wondering around The Rave..always lost in the brothel ...of rock brotherhood Once in the doors of the doomed architecturally grand , Eagles Ball Room, built in 1926, all thoughts of the outside world are gone.... My team and I rush Stage left...best location for filming and action... and the action began with drunk guy leaning on the pole in front of us , continually falling and wiping out concert goers , as he went down..... this began, Jeff and I's one on one relationship with the bouncer ..... We told on drunk guy and bouncer propped him up elsewhere to avoid interrupting others , yet he was secure and able to see 5FDP. I rushed the stage, as usual, but by reason of press stations...I was amped out of front and center...but still front row The best part of The Five Finger Death Punch show was the excruciating energy and crowd participation. When Ivan-Vox gnarled "MOVE" the crowd moved, swayed, body passed, and whipped into sync..... .......dude carrying other dude runs by us and says he needs help the guy had been body passing and fell on his head..... I rushed over and said 'From the Balcony, praying not, and helper guy..said no from on top of the crowd (body pass) I asked the delirious mosher , "what's your name......," he responded MATT, our new best friend (the bouncer guy) helped the guy (Matt) get coherent and moved back to his station...of grabbing 21-25 year old girls over the rails to get back in body pass line..... I jammed and enjoyed FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH , total stress relieve... I believe in FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH THERAPY head banging ...for life Losing Scarlet On Facebook http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000440262767 On Myspace www.myspace.com/losingscarlet FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH OFFICIAL 5FDP MYSPACE 5FDP FACEBOOK HISTORY OF THE HAUNTED RAVE |

Come to Farm Aid 25 with Kidkel69 Back in the Saddle with Steven Tyler and Willie Nelson FARM AID 25
I had the privilege of covering FARM AID 25 , held at Miller Park in Milwaukee , WI, for the Milwaukee Rock Music Examiner.
Having full media/photo/all access was an opportunity for to stream live up to YOU TUBE.
The amazing technical advances of our day , made it possible for me to report in a manner that
Hunter S. Thompson (1937-07-18 -- 2005-02-20)
Only dreamed about.
"Probably the closest analogy to the ideal would be a film director/producer who writes his own scripts, does his own camera work and somehow manages to film himself in action, as the protagonist or at least the main character." Hunter S. Thompson FEAR & LOATHING (True Gonzo Journalism) I was most impressed with the organization, cleanliness, and set up of the Farm Aid event. The accomadations for press, audience, and artist were the best I have ever seen. I had the privilege of interviewing Willie Nelson's right hand man , Fitzy here in this clip. Miller Park is the size of Texas and out of the 33,000 attendees, I ran in to Fitzy. Fitzy was a southern gentleman. Allowing us at the Examiner, to interview him , on the spot. As you will see in the video, I had the best seats in the house for FARM AID 25. Nora Jones Piano rang out as if Amadeus himself was in the stadium. Nora and Willie shared the stage together, bringing tears to many of the audience members eyes. The clarity and serenity of Nora and Willie's stage performance was a lifetime moment for many. Jason Mraz, rang out " I'm Your." Jason Mraz was a popular entertainer with the younger members of the audience as well as the seasoned concert veterans. Of course being the Milwaukee Rock Music Examiner , I was most impressed with Steven Tyler and Willie Nelson's Duet, "Once is Enough." (see video) I was blown away by the extensive media coverage , superior sound, video, and streaming quality. I have never witnessed such an amazing event. Farm Aid 25 was reminiscent of the peace, love and hope of WOODSTOCK 1969. -Kellie Levans- Milwaukee Rock Music Examiner DUNGEON D1G1TAL DA1LY ALL~MOST FAMOUS VIDEO REVIEW MAGAZINE KELLIE LEVANS, JEFF MARTIN, REX RIZZ Willie Nelson & Steven Tyler, "Once Is Enough/One Time Too Many" |
